This image was created from a place of fear and uncertainty about my future. Projects that bring joy also have dark sides and can become burdens that restrict you, sometimes even taking away the desire to create because of all the other tasks that come with them—things you’d rather not deal with.
The fear of losing friends and family, even though I know that everything must come to an end. Every person has their own personal clock, each ticking at a different pace. I am aware of this, yet the fear of losing control still lingers within me.
“One of Six” (original: „einer von sechs“) reflects my thoughts on this subject and aims to hold up a mirror to the viewer’s own inner clock, offering a personal realization that everything eventually comes to an end—and accepting this fact should bring more joy into our lives.

Material information:
Pure new wool, especially that from New Zealand, is one of the highest quality types of wool used in carpet manufacturing. This wool comes from the first shearing of a sheep, which means that it is particularly soft and robust. New Zealand wool is characterized by its exceptional purity and uniform fibre length, which makes it ideal for luxurious carpets. It offers a natural elasticity that ensures the rug retains its shape and remains resilient even under heavy use. In addition, virgin wool is naturally fire resistant and has excellent insulating properties that can both retain heat and dampen sound.
