Klaglings are beings that embody grief or take it on—
not necessarily in pain, but perhaps even healing.
Klaglings are “grief recyclers.”
This sculpture is part of my journey back into the analog world—
a place where things are allowed to stay.
Where time stretches, traces remain, and real connection is possible.
The digital world moves fast, leaving little room for depth;
so much is fleeting, polished, optimized.
In working with textiles, I’ve found the opposite:
a tactile home, a space that embraces imperfection.
The Klagling stands for this space—quiet, soft, receptive.
It’s a reminder that it’s okay to feel.
And that you don’t have to carry everything alone.
