Klaglings are beings that embody grief or take it on—
not necessarily in pain, but perhaps even healing.
Klaglings are “grief recyclers.”- a place where things are allowed to stay.
Where time stretches, traces remain, and real connection is possible. The digital world moves fast, leaving little room for depth; so much is fleeting, polished, optimized.
In working with textiles, I’ve found the opposite:
a tactile home, a space that embraces imperfection.
The Klagling stands for this space—quiet, soft, receptive.
It’s a reminder that it’s okay to feel.
And that you don’t have to carry everything alone.
